Bono, lead singer of U2, broke his arm in six places, fractured eye socket, hand, and shoulder blade from a severe bicycle accident on Sunday. According to BBC News, Bono was trying to avoid another rider when the accident happened. He has since undergone a 5- hour surgery to repair his heavily damaged arm with three metal plates and 18 screws.
U2 was scheduled to do a one- week appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but they have had to post pone this until Bono is recovered.
Luckily, Bono is expected to have a full recovery, “We’re sure he’ll make a full recovery soon, so we’ll be back!” said his bandmates The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.
